Over the years, as I’ve changed what we do, gathered vintage homewares for photography purposes and adjusted suppliers, I’ve gathered rather a lot of unnecessary stuff.

So, rather than hoard it all in my cupboard, or clutter up my studio, I’ve decided to get rid once and for all!

I’m updating it gradually – so far, there’s lots of craft bargains and vintage homewares. Lots of really ace kitschy vintage cross stitch kits and charts to come very soon!

Although the shop is closed, we are still working very hard here to get orders already received out for Christmas delivery.

We have just posted on the website two Breakdance samplers which are seconds. They both have a very faint mark around some letters on the stitching and are not quite perfect. They’re about 97% perfect but only 100% will do, so these have been reduced in price and you can get your hands on one for just £15. These two samplers WILL be dispatched for Christmas delivery if they are ordered before the end of this week.

Attention! The Miso Funky shop is now closed for orders delivering before Christmas. If you order any item now, it will not be received in time for Christmas, regardless of your location. Orders will continue to be dispatched but will be delayed.

Existing orders will be dispatched as previously advised (the same 21 day delivery on Emily Peacock items still applies though).  I’ll update with a date for normal resumption of service soon.

Brrr! We’ve had so much snow here in Glasgow that someone in our local park has built an igloo! I’d love to climb in there for a wee break but there’s too much to do round here.

We’re completely inundated with orders here, and getting them out is taking a little longer than usual – please be patient!

We’re no longer able to guarantee pre-Christmas delivery for our Emily Peacock products, either, I’m afraid! We’ve been overwhelmed with interest in them since Emily’s TV appearance and she’s working flat-out to fulfill them but we’re both only human beings with 2 hands, so something’s got to give! If we catch up a bit though, we may offer these again for pre-Crimble delivery – so stay tuned to the website.

Last date for custom orders – Tuesday 30th November.

Last date for Emily Peacock charts and kits orders – Thursday 2nd December. We are experiencing a phenomenal demand for these items so cannot guarantee delivery for Christmas after this date. Please note, this date may change, so ensure you check back regularly! We can no longer guarantee pre-Christmas delivery of Emily Peacock charts, kits or threads at this time. Check back for updates as this situation may change!

Last date for South & Central America, Caribbean, Africa, Middle East, Far East (inc. Japan), Asia, New Zealand and Australia - Friday 3rd December.

Lase date for USA,  Canada and Eastern Europe – Tuesday 7th December.

Last date for Western Europe – Friday 10th December.

Last date for UK – Sunday 19th December.

We’re back! Me and Mr Miso Funky, along with Mama Miso Funky, have been sunning ourselves on Zakinthos for the last week, but we’re back now and normal service shall resume!

Above is what I spent Friday doing – exploring some caves in such crystal clear turquoise waters you wouldn’t believe! It was awesome!

But now, we’re back in rainy Glasgow, it’s just 4.30pm and it’s as dark as midnight outside! So wet and gloomy!
