Miso Funky Terms and Conditions

This section is designed to give you the 411 on how we roll it at Miso Towers. Please ensure you have read and digested this information before availing yourself of our services or purchasing a product.

Our number one aim is to make your crafty dreams come true. We will pursue your dream as far as we can and work on the ethic that if we would not be happy with it ourselves, then you certainly wouldn't be. We will never send an item out to you that we would not be proud to have ourselves.

Whilst every care is taken to pack up your fabulous new purchase, we can't take any responsibility for what happens in transit. Much as we'd love to, we don't have any control over Royal Mail, so if you want to insure your goods, or get a guaranteed (by the Post Office) delivery date, then we suggest that you select a postal method such as Special Delivery. Simply specify your choice when you purchase or contact us and we will accommodate it wherever possible.

Having said that, you need to bear in mind that we ain't multi-billionaires and are not in this for the money and as such, in the event of any returns, then you must cover the postage costs. Please read on for details about returns later.

Once you have made a purchase, we will ship it as soon as we can, usually within 24 to 48 hours, however you should allow up to 14 days for delivery. If you have not received your item 14 days from order, please chek out our blog for details on shipping delays or contact us.

Any delays on top of that will be clearly stated on our website. Please check the front page of the shop and our blog for shipping updates. All payments for both goods and postage must be received by us before your order is dispatched. If you are ordering a custom item, then please ask for a time scale for completion which will be agreed with you before payment is made.

Some items aer dispatched directly from the designer or manufacturer so sometimes we are unable to supply you with shipping confirmation. We will try our best though to supply this where possible. Because of this method of dispatch, some items may take longer than 14 days in times of high demand. This will be highlighted on our blog and website.

Items will be sent First Class Recorded Delivery within in the UK and First Class Air Mail internationally. For guidelines on shipping times, please see here. Proof of postage is retained. Please be aware that in the event of a non-delivered item, we must wait for 21 days from date of dispatch before the Royal Mail can investigate it as a lost item. If you require Special Delivery please order that from the Delivery Options section of the website along with your order.

Recorded Delivery only allows us to confirm delivery when it is signed for. It does not provide any en-route tracking information. Whilst we will endeavour to provide you with a tracking reference number where requested, due to the volume of orders we dispatch, this may take some time or not be possible.

Orders over £35 are offered with free shipping. The items comprising the order must add up to £35, not including any offers, discounts or other charges. Orders over £35.00 and up to £59.99 are included in this offer. Orders over £60.00 will be subject to shipping charges advertised.

All Emily Peacock kits are shipped by International Signed For outside of the UK at the request of the maker and for your protection on these higher-value items. Please note we are currently experiencing high demand for Emily Peacock products and are advising 21 days delivery minimum on these items at present. Please check our blog for up-to-date information.

Most of the beautiful things on our site are handmade, either by our own fair paws or by our trusted suppliers. With that in mind, colours and textures may occasionally vary slightly from those depicted, depending on what wools, materials, beads, etc we have in stock. Items are also not pictured to scale. Vintage items are obviously not made by ourselves, but collected on our global travels for your delectation. Customised items are marked as such also.

If we do not have an item in stock, we will endeavour to make you one from scratch, where possible. Just remember this may take longer. So give us some notice of what you want and we will give you an indication of a timescale for delivery. It is unavoidable that occasionally an item will be listed as in stock when it is already purchased - in these circumstances, we will contact you to provide an alternative or refund.

Because each item is handmade or personalised, then we cannot make a refund for an item that is simply not wanted. Only if there is a major defect can we refund any monies paid, and then, as above, the postage costs will be retained by Miso Funky. This policy applies to all of our products, including products such as charts and thread, kits and other items by our guest designers. Where an item has a major defect and is returned, we will cover your postage costs to return the item to us. Items with major defects must be highlighted to us within 7 days of receipt or we cannot accept returns.

We won't sell information about you or your purchases to anyone else. Unless you sign up to our mailing list, then we won't contact you. If you make a purchase, then we will add you to our mailing list. If you don't want to be on our mailing list, then tell us and we will take you off it.
